Although it moved to its current production site in Saint-Benoît in 1984, the 1886 vintage intends to pay tribute to the date of birth of the distillery. The result of a blend of rare vintages 2003, 2004 and 2006, the 1886 Rivière du Mât old rum is a balanced and complex rum.

The Rivière du Mât distillery is one of the oldest distilleries on Reunion Island, it was created in Rivière du Mât in 1886 and transferred to St Benoit in 1984.
