A distillery with recognised know-how

Founded on the island of Reunion, the Rivière du Mat distillery perpetuates a centuries-old tradition in the production of refined rums. His expertise has enabled him to elevate Reunionese rum to the rank of great spirits, rivalling the finest productions of the West Indies.

Three unique expressions

This box offers three rums with distinct profiles:

  • Grande Réserve : a 5-year-old rum, marked by floral and fruity notes, of great elegance.
  • XO : a traditional rum with flavours of cooked fruit and oriental spices, awarded a Gold Medal at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles in 2018.
  • 2006 vintage : aged in oak barrels, it seduces with its unctuous texture and harmonious balance.

The Rivière du Mât distillery is one of the oldest distilleries on Reunion Island, it was created in Rivière du Mât in 1886 and transferred to St Benoit in 1984.
