Controlled ageing

After an initial phase of 8 to 14 months in new oak barrels, this rum continued its refinement in fine-grained red barrels for a total of 12 years of maturation. This process gives a beautiful complexity, where the woodiness blends harmoniously with the spices and fruits.

An intense and structured aromatic profile

The nose reveals a fragrant woodiness with fruity tannins, supported by a spicy palette and a touch of resinousness. On the palate, roasting dominates with notes of caramel, roasted nuts and black coffee, enriched by a blood orange acidity. The finish, persistent, evolves between coppery, bitter orange and a slightly tarry hint.
