Founded in 1975 by Fred van Zuidam, the Zuidam distillery is now a key reference in the Netherlands. After a decade of improvement, it is now recognized for its artisanal productions of great finesse, made in its four copper stills.
Ageing that makes a difference
Distilled in a Pot Still still , the Flying Dutchman Netherlands 4 years old has been aged for four years in former Pedro Ximenez wine barrels. This process gives it a beautiful amber colour and an aromatic complexity marked by fruit, spices and a slight woody touch.
A bewitching aromatic palette
On the nose, fruity and spicy notes are revealed, mixing citrus, pepper and cinnamon. On the palate, the sweetness of jam and mango blends harmoniously with floral accents and subtle nuances of ginger. A singular discovery that will seduce lovers of daring rums.
