Distilled in April 2002 from molasses imported from Guyana, Compagnie des Indes Sainte-Lucie 13 ans is a rare rum, made from the SLD84 cask. After a 24-hour fermentation, it was distilled in column and pot stills and then aged for 13 years in first-hand bourbon barrels. Bottled in France without filtration or additives, it is distinguished by its authenticity and aromatic richness.

The idea was born from the Portuguese, English, Dutch and French East India companies of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, which selected rare commodities from distant lands and imported them into their respective countries. Like the latter, we select the best qualities of rum and import them in France. Compagnie des Indes rums, whether bottled in Single Casks or assembled to bring out the typicality and qualities of each destination, are selected with great rigor.
