The distillery was founded by Denis Barnard, it has been producing rum since 1972, when the distillery was formed following the merger between the Dennery distillery and the Roseau distillery.
Their story is inscribed on the label and on the box in the form of a Time Line. Each year, the colour of the label changes and the history of the distillery will be inscribed year after year on the label, on the barcode and on the packaging. That's why in 2016, the version of the bottle was different than in 2015, the year that celebrated 85 years of making the St. Lucia distillery and so on in the future. Each bottle is individually numbered. Each bottle will become a collector's item for rum lovers and a landmark for the history of Caribbean rums.
A true treasure of the Saint Lucia distillery, the cases and labels may have some signs of the time that has passed between the bottling and today.
