The very old agricultural rum 6 years old is the result of a meticulous blend of old agricultural rums aged for at least 6 years in oak barrels. Its nose opens with subtle scents of dried flowers with a hint of blond tobacco as a backdrop. Notes of gingerbread appear at the opening. The palate confirms the aromas of the nose while revealing a beautiful alliance between dried fruits and spicy notes. Its finish, all in nuance, dies on delicately woody flavors.

The Rivière du Mât distillery is one of the oldest distilleries on Reunion Island, it was created in Rivière du Mât in 1886 and transferred to St Benoit in 1984.
