A single malt from the Isle of Mull

Produced by the famous Tobermory distillery, Ledaig - 10 years old embodies Scottish know-how in the production of peated whiskies. Its distinctive profile draws inspiration from the wild environment of the Isle of Mull, where sea air and craft traditions shape exceptional spirits.

A balanced flavour profile

This single malt reveals characteristic maritime notes , with a saline touch reminiscent of the ocean air. On the palate, the balance between peat smoke and citrus creates an experience that is both intense and refined. The warmth of the aromas evokes a wood fire, making this whisky a serious competitor to the great peated Islay.

Our tasting notes for 10 years

Ledaig

The town of Tobermory, capital of the Isle of Mull, was born from the will of the local lord, the fifth Duke of Argyll, who wanted to create a fishing port around 1780. His small distillery originally named after Ledaig, owned by a seaweed merchant, appeared a few years later. After many long periods without activity, it was bought and renovated by the sherry wine producer Pedro Domecq and a Liverpool shipping company in 1972. This singular adventure was short-lived as the company went bankrupt in 1975. The whiskies produced during this era made this single malt legend, making it one of the most sought after by collectors.
