Aged in American oak casks and then matured in Oloroso sherry casks for four months, the 12-year-old Deanston reveals a unique flavor profile. Its aromas of malt and caramel intertwine with notes of fruit and spices, offering a soft and balanced palate. The finish, marked by caramel and cloves, is both long and pleasant.
Deanston : a distillery rich in history
Located in a former cotton mill, the Deanston distillery is known for its unique history and respect for traditions. Converted into a distillery in 1966, it takes advantage of the ideal conditions of the Highlands to produce exceptional whiskies, of which only 15% are bottled as single malts.

Nose : Nez délicat, finement malté, avec des notes herbacées, de fruits secs (noix) et de foin séché.
Palate : En bouche, l’attaque est élégante, même si elle ne manque pas de puissance, avec un corps solide et bien malté. Mais on retrouve aussi une certaine fraîcheur herbacée, voire mentholée.
Finish : La finale est assez longue, à la fois apéritive mais aussi nourrissante grâce à une belle puissance aromatique. De quoi faire entendre une petite musique bien campagnarde dans le vaste orchestre des malts…
