Once harvested, the sugar cane is crushed on site in La Plaine St André. After fermentation, distillation takes place in three copper stills, two stills for taste and a rectification column for purity. The white rum Takamaka then rests in stainless steel in our unique tropical climate of the Seychelles.

Takamaka

Located in the Saint André plain on the island of Mahé, the 3 Frères distillery developed its first rums from the Seychelles in 2002. Called Takamaka, these rums take their name from one of the 23 districts of the island to which they belong.
