Takamaka Extra Black
Origin and production
Produced by the Trois Frères distillery, located on the main island of Mahé in the Seychelles, Takamaka Extra Noir is the result of a blend of rums distilled in pot stills and columns from molasses. This unique blend is infused with French oak chips and then subjected to hydrodynamic cavitation to enrich its aromatic profile. Finally, the rum is matured for 60 days in casks that previously contained French cane rum, giving it additional depth and complexity.
Tasting Notes
This rum has an intense aromatic profile with notes of chocolate, cinnamon and cloves. On the palate, it reveals rich and elegant flavors, with a marked presence of vanilla and woody spices, resulting in a long and spicy finish. Its complexity and balance make it an ideal choice for lovers of deep and structured rums.

Located in the Saint André plain on the island of Mahé, the 3 Frères distillery developed its first rums from the Seychelles in 2002. Called Takamaka, these rums take their name from one of the 23 districts of the island to which they belong.
