The Blessed, creators of signature spirits

Les Bienheureux designs spirits that tell a story, a terroir, an encounter. Coro Coro Ron & Cacao was born out of a taste exploration in Guatemala, where sugarcane and cocoa have grown side by side for centuries. The name refers to the scarlet ibis, an emblematic bird of the tropics.

Aguardiente, superfino and cocoa: an atypical blend

The Coro Coro recipe is based on a blend of two types of Guatemalan rumaguardiente, a rustic and aromatic distillate, and superfino, redistilled for finesse—to which local cocoa is added. Bottled at 30°, the result is a greedy and warm liqueur with a nose of roasted cocoa bean, vanilla and caramel. On the palate, the sweetness of the cocoa envelops the character of the aguardiente, creating a balance between noble bitterness and sweet roundness. A tasting or cocktail spirit, ideal after dinner.

CoroCoro

The Coro-coro rojo is the emblematic bird of Guatemala. Recognizable by its red color, it flies over sugar cane plantations. Beyond the animal, it is a liqueur based on rum and infusion of cocoa beans.
