With this 2010 vintage, the house of Tamure signs a rare expression of Tahitian rum. Made from a single cask — a true single cask, although not mentioned on the label — this spirit has benefited from 14 years of aging in bourbon barrels, developing a remarkable depth. At the time of bottling, it was the oldest rum produced in Tahiti, testifying to the ageing potential and the qualitative ambition of the distillery.

Structure, intensity and aromatic complexity

Bottled at 47°, this controlled alcohol reveals a pronounced woodiness, supported by a beautiful patina and notes of rancio. The tasting evolves towards aromas of candied fruit — prunes, marmalade — then dried fruit, offering a rich and structured palette. This limited edition of 163 bottles will appeal to lovers of aged rum and spirits with character, sensitive to long ageing and profiles intensely marked by barrel aging.
