Del Maguey Chichicapa
Del Maguey, the pioneer of the Single Village Mezcal
Founded in 1995 by American artist Ron Cooper, Del Maguey revolutionized the perception of mezcal around the world by introducing the concept of Single Village: each expression comes from a unique village in Oaxaca, crafted by an identified master mezcalero, using ancestral methods passed down from generation to generation.
Chichicapa, 100% Espadín, cooked in pits
Chichicapa is produced by Faustino Garcia Vasquez in the eponymous village, located in the mountains of Oaxaca. Espadín 100% agave hearts are cooked for several days in pits dug into the earth, ground with tahona, fermented naturally and then distilled twice in copper stills. Bottled at 48°, this mezcal offers an intense nose of tropical fruits, sweet smoke and minerality. On the palate, the texture is oily and complex, with notes of toasted mango, ash, herbs and a long, smoky finish.
Del Maguey
Del Maguey honors mezcal tradition with 100% artisanal production. Distilled in small batches by local producers in the heart of Oaxaca, its mezcals showcase the richness of the terroir with smoky, earthy, and fruity notes. A pure immersion into the soul of Mexico.
