Los Siete Misterios Doba Yej
Los Siete Misterios, guardians of the mezcalera tradition
Founded in 2010 by brothers Julio and Eduardo Mestre, the Los Siete Misterios brand collaborates with Maestros Mezcaleros from Oaxaca to preserve ancestral production methods. The agaves are cooked in wood-fuelled underground conical ovens, ground with horse-drawn tahona, then fermented naturally in the open air before double distillation. Each lot is signed by a different mezcalero.
Doba Yej, the Espadín in a copper still
The first mezcal in the range distilled in a copper still — the others being made in a clay still — Doba Yej stands out for its luminosity and accessibility. The nose is lively, between citrus, fresh herbs and roasted agave. On the palate, the texture is rich, with notes of grapefruit, green apple and pepper, supported by a delicate smoke. The finish, long and spicy, reveals touches of chipotle and minerality. A mezcal to enjoy neat or in cocktails.
Los Siete Misterios

Certified 100% Agave, each Mezcal of the Los Siete Misterios range is composed of a single variety of Agave bringing specific and specific aromas to each bottle.
