Produced by SangSom, the first Thai distillery founded in 1977, Phraya 8 Year Old is the flagship of Southeast Asian spirits. Designed as a tribute to the four elements, it draws its richness from the Earth, nourished by local canes, the pure water of the Ta Chin River, the fire of burnt American oak barrels and the air of the cellars near the lagoons.
Controlled tropical ageing
This molasses rum is patiently aged for 8 years in a tropical climate. No sugar or coloring is added, ensuring an authentic and natural expression. Its deep shades of gold and copper evoke maturity and the care taken in its design.
Tasting notes
On the nose, Phraya 8 years reveals aromas of vanilla, coconut, tropical fruits and chocolate. On the palate, intense notes of caramel, toasted oak, leather and vanilla blend harmoniously, offering a long and balanced finish.
