After 25 years of ageing in the warm climates of Trinidad and Tobago and Guyana, this rum has benefited from a final maturation in demijohns in the Cognac region. This meticulous process has resulted in a refined spirit that stands out for its uniqueness, while also being in line with the tradition of heavy rums from Caroni.

The state-owned Caronidistillery in Trinidad and Tobago closed in 2002. After 84 years of practice, she leaves behind a few column stills, ironing stills and a few barrels that will give birth to the vintages* that we offer.
