Presentation of this Trinidad 2003

From the Trinidad Distillers Limited distillery, the Planteray- Terravera Collection Trinidad 2003 is a rum made from molasses, distilled in 2003. It benefits from a remarkable 19-year ageing in bourbon barrels in Port of Spain, followed by a further 3 years in Ferrand barrels in France. This double maturation gives the rum an aromatic depth and a singular complexity. As the oldest vintage in the Terravera series, it represents the culmination of a rigorous selection of emblematic terroirs and a goldsmith's work in rum maturation.
