Our tasting notes for Vintage 1998 - 17 years

Nose : De la vanille, notes boisés, fève de cacao, fleur capiteuse et fruits confits (mangues abricot).

Palate : Fidèle au nez on retrouve les fleurs, les fruits confits avec des notes de miels mêlés au cacao avec le boisé en trame de fond.

Finish : Longueur en bouche très persistante, on poursuit notre voyage aromatique sur les fruits confits avec une pointe d’acidité, du bois, beaucoup de bois qui nous mène aux épices (girofles, cannelle, gingembre).

The state-owned Caronidistillery in Trinidad and Tobago closed in 2002. After 84 years of practice, she leaves behind a few column stills, ironing stills and a few barrels that will give birth to the vintages* that we offer.
