Closed in 2002, the Caroni distillery was one of the last two distilleries to carry on the tradition of rum production in Trinidad. This new 1996 vintage displays its hydrocarbon notes with the same intensity as the 1996 Full Proof presented this year.
However, its fruitiness is more greedy and its spices more present. For the rest, the same charm operates in an epidermal way.

The state-owned Caronidistillery in Trinidad and Tobago closed in 2002. After 84 years of practice, she leaves behind a few column stills, ironing stills and a few barrels that will give birth to the vintages* that we offer.
