Caroni, a legendary distillery

Located in Trinidad, the Caroni distillery closed in 2002 after decades of producing powerful and distinctive rums. Rediscovered in 2004 by Luca Gargano, these forgotten casks have become treasures prized by wine lovers, propelling Caroni to the rank of legend.

After 14 years in Trinidad, Velier - Caroni Guyana Stock - Vintage 1994 continued its refinement from 2008 in the cellars of Demerara Distillers Ltd. in Guyana. This prolonged maturation in a tropical climate has shaped a rum of extraordinary intensity, concentrating its aromas and power.
