This rum, too, is of discreet, timid importance. Never interested, but helpful. We want to imagine ourselves sitting on a beach, watching the ebb and flow of the tide, the changing winds, in a discreet contemplation of ourselves, the world, the universe and our soul. A classic. We first find scents of moss and earth, then an ending that magically makes appear "the nave of an old Romanesque church". The aromas change direction again with timidity, almost with distance, turning towards vanilla — almost like an Italian ice cream, stracciatella — licorice and dried fruits. A complex and complete rum, and it is perhaps its shyness that, precisely, intrigues us the most. A tasty explosion of blueberry, juniper berries, and the sweet and buttery taste of pollen. The sweet notes develop the roundness and subtlety that take shape. The notes of
Chlorophyll give it structure.
