The Ten Cane distillery was created by LVMH to produce pure juice rum in pot still for the American market. The brand never really found its audience, the multinational decided to demolish the distillery a few years after its opening. The name Ten Cane came from the idea that it takes ten sugar canes to make 1 bottle of rum.

As you can see, the distillery is now closed and these rums are very rare. It was therefore pot still rum and made from pure cane juice (agricultural style). 80% ageing in a tropical climate. Sugar =0G/L; ex Bourbon barrel.

Our tasting notes for Trinidad 11 years old (Ten Cane Distillery)

Nose : reflective of some Latin American rum; roasting flavors, some coffee, cappuccino, chocolate and menthol aromas. Emanations of Amaretto and salted butter caramel

Palate : Berlingots candies, caramelized apples and soft spices can be found

Finish : the aftertaste takes us back to childhood thanks to its lingering licorice stick flavor
