A know-how rooted in the Louisiana terroir

The Louisiana Spirits distillery, founded in 2013, is now the largest producer of rum in the United States. Faithful to the esprit of the first settlers distillers, it uses exclusively local ingredients, from the sugar cane grown for more than two centuries on the banks of the Mississippi. Bayou Rum XO Mardi Gras is part of this lineage, combining tradition and high standards in the elaboration of its cuvées.

Complex ageing and finishing in Sherry casks

Made from a blend of the distillery's best barrels, this rum is distilled in a copper still , then aged for up to six years according to the Solera method in barrels that have contained Bourbon. It then benefits from a partial finish in Sherry casks, which gives it depth and refinement. A cuvée that celebrates both Louisiana's heritage and the richness of great tasting rums.
