The heritage of a distillery of excellence

Founded in 1959 at the foot of the Andes Mountains, the Diplomatico distillery has established itself as a world reference for Venezuelan ron. Under the direction of Cellar Master Tito Cordero, voted best rum master in the world in 2014, the house combines several artisanal distillation methods to produce spirits of remarkable complexity.

A rare blend, a double maturation

Ambassador Diplomatico is made exclusively from sugar cane honey. The rums that make up this blend are aged for 12 years in bourbon barrels, then refined for another 2 years in barrels that have contained Pedro Ximénez Sherry. Bottled at 47% cask strength, without cold filtration, it is presented in a wooden box accompanied by its decanter screen-printed with the effigy of Don Juancho Nieto Melendez.
