The Venezuelan aristocracy

Hacienda Santa Teresa, founded in 1796 in the Aragua Valleys of Venezuela, is one of the oldest rum houses in the Americas. The Selecto is the top-of-the-range cuvée, a Solera blend of rums carefully selected from the hacienda's finest casks. Santa Teresa is also known for its " Proyecto Alcatraz " social program, which rehabilitates ex-offenders through rum work.

Refinement and nobility

The nose is fine and elegant: dark chocolate, coffee, precious woods, vanilla and dried fruits. The palate is silky and refined, with flavours of caramel, nuts, fine leather, sweet tobacco and spices. The finish is long and elegant. A rum of great finesse that illustrates the best of the Venezuelan tradition and is ideally enjoyed neat, at room temperature.
