An exceptional Venezuelan single cask

Founded in 2014 by Florent Beuchet, La Compagnie des Indes perpetuates l'esprit of the great commercial companies of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries by selecting the best casks from all over the world. This rum comes from the C.A.D.C. distillery, located at an altitude of 510 meters between the Coast Mountains and the Aragua Valleys in Venezuela. Distilled in April 2005, it has matured for 14 years in a single bourbon barrel, without cold filtration.

An opulent aromatic palette

The nose is powerful and fruity, mixing notes of ripe strawberry, fermented mango and passion fruit with a background of liquorice. On the palate, the minty freshness gives way to a concentrated bouquet of yuzu, cinnamon and nutmeg. The finish stretches over accents of spicy exotic fruit salad, with a beautiful persistence. A rum for contemplation, bottled in a numbered limited series.

Nose : expressif, laisse s’exprimer un nez très chargé sur des notes fruitées et florales: Du kiwi, du litchi de la vanille et du colza. Une impression de banana split en après aération

Palate : surprenant par ces effluves de cire d’abeille, de massepain, de résine de pin. Un caractère onctueux agréable sublimé de notes lactées et onctueuses

Finish : s’apparente à un cappuccino à la mousse onctueuse et voluptueuse
