The Black Edition is a limited edition from the A.H. Riise Non Plus Ultra. It is a blend of rums matured in oak barrels that have been heated a second time, extremely charred, hence the name "Black". This process brings additional roasted and vanilla notes that complement the fruity and sweet profile of Non Plus Ultra.

The pillars bear the inscription "Non Plus Ultra" (Lattin) in French "Rien au-delà " as a warning to navigators not to continue their journey into the unknown.

This rum lives up to its name, "Nothing better beyond". It is in this sense that the Master Blender designed this rum.
