Albert Heinrich Riise was a Danish pharmacist and manufacturer in the nineteenth century. In 1838 he obtained the privilege of becoming the only pharmacist on the island of St. Thomas in the Danish West Indies, islands that are now part of the U.S. Virgin Islands. He carefully distilled all these recipes in his pharmacy, which was covered by the Danish authorities. The entire range of A.H.Riise spirits takes up the historical recipes and ancestral know-how of its creator.

The XO Reserve Founders 1/3 differs only from the two upcoming editions by its red text and its alcohol content that varies between the 3 limited editions of this collection.
