Its narrowed chimney regulates the alcoholic vapours that emanate from the rum to avoid sensations of heat, or even a small burn on the nose without altering its olfactory richness.
These lenses are made of Kwarx®, a new high-tech material invented by the Arc International research centre. This material allows a very high impact resistance, absolute transparency of the glass as well as a perfect shine even after 2000 washing cycles. The grip of these lenses is almost perfect. It is also possible to "layer" them to heat the spirit with hot water.
