A unique legacy: An 18-year-old Demerara

Distilled in 1998, this rum comes from the mythical Uitvlugt distillery, located on the west bank of the Demerara River. Closed in 1999, this historic distillery employed exceptional stills, including the famous four-column Savalle still and the iconic "Heritage Stills", such as the EHP wooden coffey still and the Versailles pot still. Transferred to Diamond in 2000, these stills continue a centuries-old tradition. Bottled by The Nectar in 2017, this rum captures the very essence of this heritage.
