Distilled in the mythical double wooden still Port Mourant, Silver Seal - 2003 Guyana Port Mourant 13 Year Old vintage testifies to the excellence of Demerara rums. After careful ageing in English Guiana, then in Scotland, this rum was bottled in 2016 by Silver Seal, a famous Italian bottler. Its complexity and intensity make it a real collector's item.

A captivating flavour profile

On the nose, this rum seduces with its rich and complex notes: fatty almond, resin, ripe exotic fruits, and a touch of solvent. The vegetal, spicy (rosemary, curry) and fruity aromas evolve towards nuances of prune, walnut, and black berries such as blackberry or blueberry. Copper accents and white chocolate melted with a hint of vanilla complete this remarkable bouquet.

A striking palate and an unforgettable finish

Concentrated and lively, this rum reveals fruity flavours of Williams pear, cherry and prune on the palate. Its animal side, with musky notes, leather and a smoky metallic touch, adds depth. The long and marked finish imbues the palate with cherry and almond stone, revealing the power and charm of this iconic still.
