History of the distillery

Located in Baradères, the Faubert Casimir distillery (founded in 1979) covers 50 hectares and grows non-hybrid varieties of cane: White Hawaii and Red Hawaii. This Art Series edition honors Luca Gargano's private collection; the label is based on a work by Prefect Duffaut, a major figure of the Haitian naïve school.

Aged 4 years, this single cask in a limited edition of 164 bottles combines the terroir of Haiti and aging in whisky barrels, for a profile sought after by lovers of rum and artisanal distillery spirits.

Tasting notes

A palette that is phenolic, subtle and airy. Empyreumatic, tropical, syrupy, mineral and floral nuances, of great diversity. A Haitian rum with character, ideal for pure tasting and the constitution of a cellar focused on single casks and aging in barrels.
