History of the Port-au-Prince distillery

Created in 2018 by La Maison & Velier, the Port-au-Prince distillery stands on an old dwelling known as Sarthe Providence. From the beginning, she made her mark with her white rums First Drops (2019) and Dunder & Syrup (2021). The 2022 vintage inaugurates a new stage with the release of a first rum aged for three years.

Distilled from Haitian cane syrup, this Providence 3 Year Old 2022 is offered in small batch, at 52.4% vol. and in 70 cl format. Aged entirely in a tropical climate, it illustrates the distillery's desire to combine authenticity and innovation. Its edition is limited to only 3,700 bottles, reserved exclusively for LMDW.

Tasting notes

This young and expressive rum balances between freshness and maturity. There are accents of agave, lemon, honey, lime blossom and verbena, giving the tasting a floral, lively and unctuous personality.
