Barbancourt : the heritage of an iconic distillery

Founded in 1862 by Dupré Barbancourt, a Frenchman from Charente, the distillery has been able to combine Cognac know-how with the richness of Haiti's natural resources. Since 1949, it has been operating in the heart of Domaine Barbancourt's sugar cane fields, and despite challenges such as the 2010 earthquake, it continues to produce world-renowned rums. The combination of double distillation and the use of a continuous column since 1992 offers a perfect balance between tradition and modernity.
