Presentation of this rum

This rum was distilled in 1984 at the Clarendon distillery, using a double-twisted still to produce a Wedderburn-type rum, characterized by a notable aromatic richness. After fully maturing in the tropical Jamaican climate, it was bottled in 2020 by Velier at its natural strength of 69%.

Tasting notes

This rum offers a complex profile with intense aromas of ripe tropical fruits, such as banana and mango, accompanied by notes of precious woods and sweet spices. On the palate, it is distinguished by a controlled power, revealing deep flavors of exotic fruits, dark chocolate and a slight touch of eucalyptus. The finish is long and persistent, marked by woody nuances and a pleasant bitterness.
