This sublime old Jamaican rum is an illustration of this. Dated 1878 , this old rum certainly comes from one of the 5 distilleries in Jamaica that still today produce very aromatic rums sought after by fine connoisseurs. At that time, the alcohol content was not important, so much so that the label does not mention it. The level is half-shouldered on this 1-liter glass bottle format.
