White rums represent the pure products of distillation, which are not altered by the wood of the barrels in which they have matured, thus offering the opportunity to get closer to their origins. This rum originated at Jamaica's Long Pond Distillery, which was founded in 1753 and is famous for its bold and funky rums created through an authentic distillation process. The abbreviation STCE or "Simon Thompson Cambridge Estate" refers to the ester content classification used by the Cambridge distillery, which ceased to exist in 1947. The ester content of this rum varies between 550 and 700 g.
