Colours of Rum Clarendon Vintage 1997 24 years Edition N°13

The Clarendon Distillery is located in the south of the island of Jamaica in St. Catherine's Town. The rum is made from local molasses from a sugar factory that has been in production since the 18th century. Today, Clarendon is one of the world's leading rum distilleries, producing around 12 million litres of absolute alcohol.

This 24-year-old Clarendon rum was bottled from a single cask that produced 192 bottles. It has grown old in the Old Continent. Distilled in 1997 in a pot still , and aged in an ex-rum oak barrel, before being bottled at 49.2% ABV.

It is a limited bottling marked MMW (Monymusk Wedderburn), giving it an ester content of 290-300 g/hlpa.

The 'The Colours of Rum' range is an ode to iconic distilleries like Caroni, Hampden and Foursquare. With no additives or sweeteners, it is a pure invitation to tasting for the most demanding amateurs and connoisseurs.
