Uitvlugt (pronounced "eye-flut") is a village in Guyana, based on the west bank of the Demerara River. The Dutch distillery Uitvlugt was established around 1750, housing double wooden stills that produced a typically heavy rum . In 1975, the government began to consolidate rum production, which unfortunately led to the closure of Uitvlugt in 2000.

Uitvlugt No. 6 was produced at Double Wooden Pot Still. This expression spent 2 years in the tropics and in an ex-bourbon cask and 21 years in an ex-cognac barrel. It was bottled in 2022 at 53.4% ABV. There are only 262 bottles in this batch.
