Legacy of a forgotten distillery

Produced near Gros Morne, Martinique, the Courville brand was once one of the key names in agricultural rum. This bottle is one of the few remnants of the Habitation Thibaud, whose production ceased in the 1970s, before being almost totally destroyed by a flood in the 1990s. Its good state of preservation, with intact aluminium seal and excellent level, testifies to its authenticity.

A historic agricultural white rum

Packaged in 1-liter bottles at 50% vol., this agricultural white rum embodies the traditional Martinican style. It is a collector's item, prized for its rarity and heritage value. A precious fragment of the history of West Indian rum.

Courville

Produced by the Compagnie Métropolitaine des Rhums in Paris, this rum seems to have been made at the plantations "La Thibaut". Courville was one of the many Martinican rum brands imported by this company. The brand no longer exists.
