Duquesne 1943 harvest
The Creole column Duquesne is special and it is the only column of the distillery to have produced this Grand Rhum Doré from the Val d'Or Plantations in 1943. It is estimated that it is aged in the tropical climate of Ste Luce at less than 10 years. At that time, long ageing was rare.
The level of the bottle has dropped over the years but retains the intensity and explosion of the aromas of this old rum in a bottle, kept for more than 75 years in the bottle. We can say this because we had the chance and the honor to taste this great 1943 vintage.
Before shipment, the bottle will be waxed by us (red color) in order to protect its contents during transport.
