La Maison Du Rhum Mauritius (Distillery Chamarel) Batch 4
Chamarel is famous for making rums of pure cane juice from only its plantations. La Maison Du Rhum selected a rum distilled in 2012, aged in French oak barrels. The choice of a finish was necessary in order to give a new aromatic dimension to this rum. After aging, the rum passes into ex-barrels of Cognac and ex-barrel of peated whisky of Islay. A subtle marriage between peat and exotic fruits.

Nose : Au nez, une fumée délicate accompagne les notes de bruyères. La tourbe se manifeste à l’aération, enrobant les fruits exotiques.
Palate : La bouche confirme les arômes du nez.
Finish : Les fruits confits saupoudrés de vanille se drapent d’une fumée exquise pour une finale cendrée.
