The 8 Pixan year-old rum is double-distilled in column in Monterrey. It is then aged for 8 years in American oak barrels that have previously contained bourbon. The bourbon barrels bring body to the rum, as well as toasted, toasted, coconut, chocolate or subtle notes of vanilla.
