Batavia Arrack Rum from " By the Dutch " is distilled from sugar cane molasses according to a recipe dating back to the 17th century. This rum is exclusively made on the island of Java in Indonesia. Its manufacture uses a very particular selection of batch stills produced on the island of Java.

The "Rum of Indonesia" is born The fermentation process includes the addition of locally fermented (red) rice that distinguishes it from other rums. The distillation of our Batavia Arrack is carried out using traditional batch stills (pot stills), while adopting ancient Chinese distillation methods. Our cellar master has developed an excellent product, aged in oak barrels for up to 8 years, which promotes the creation of exceptionally rich and fragrant flavors, lasting forever in the mouth.
