Artisanal and authentic production

The Mhoba distillery, founded by Robert Greaves, is distinguished by its independent and artisanal approach to pure cane rum. Produced from the local Nkomazi variety, this rum is fermented with a unique combination of baker's and wild yeasts, then distilled in a home-designed iron still .

Refined ageing

MHOBA - Single Cask 9 2017 was aged for 4 years in an ex-Bourbon cask before being matured for 1 year in a single French oak cask that contained South African wine Vrede en Lust. This process gives it a distinctive aromatic complexity. Produced in only 286 bottles, this limited edition will seduce lovers of singular and expressive rums.
