Trinidad Distillers: a story of tradition and innovation

Founded in 1947, Trinidad Distillers is a key player in rum production in the Caribbean. Initially dedicated to the production of rum for Angostura bitters, the distillery evolved with the addition of modern multi-storey columns in 1975, 1985 and 1999. Despite financial challenges in the 2000s, it continues to produce around 8.5 million litres of rum per year, combining tradition and innovation. This 2000 vintage reflects the technical mastery and heritage of this Caribbean institution.
