Ron Caney

The distillery where Caney is produced is the most famous in Cuba. It is located in Santiago de Cuba. Brand created in 1962, just after the revolution, Ron Caney, named after the cone-shaped houses built by the "Campesinos" of Cuba, small farmers, benefited from the know-how of the maestros roneros who had not left the island.

This rum is produced from sugar cane molasses that is grown in the fertile fields of southern Cuba, without fertilizers or pesticides, around the mythical Sierra Maestra. It is distilled to Santiago de Cuba. Ron Caney is carefully produced with spring water from Cuba. It is aged in unique climatic conditions, in oak barrels, before being assembled by cellar masters, some of whom worked at the distillery before the revolution.
