Grand Opening Week at Brugal

March 25th marked the launch of the season for the unmissable Dominican brand, Brugal. A week punctuated by receptions, festivities, and the discovery of exceptional products.

Introducing the Andrès n°2 vintage

On March 25th, Brugal unveiled the Cuvée Andrés Brugal Edition No. 2. While the Maestra Ronera, Jassil Villanueva, fifth generation of the Brugal family, was officiating in New York, the brand ambassador, Léonard Gonzales, offered a select group of guests the opportunity to discover this magnificent cuvée.

This cuvée pays homage to the history of Andrés Brugal. Driven by the desire to conquer the American market, Andrés Brugal made his first trip to the United States in 1904, followed by a second in 1905, accompanied by his sons. These expeditions mark the beginnings of Brugal rum exports to the United States.

The Inauguration of the Patio

Two days after the presentation of the Cuvée Andrés Brugal, Maison Brugal unveiled its Parisian base for the 2025 season: Maison Delano. Located in a former 18th-century private mansion, this space houses a signature bar where gold and blue colors enrich the elegant decor.

The bar, located in the heart of the patio, was next to a stage where an orchestra enlivened the evening. The bartenders, very busy that night, offered updated versions of famous cocktails: the Coco Fizz, renamed Serenade, the Bee's Knees, renamed Escape, the Mary Pickford, which became The Odyssey, and the Sazerac, revisited under the name Glow.

Rum enthusiasts and connoisseurs can enjoy this exceptional Dominican ambiance for six months at La Maison Delano, on Rue d’Anjou in Paris. You can also find Brugal products at Excellence Rhum.
