Our tasting notes for Wonders Series Kornog Celtic Whisky Distillery 2016

Nose : Sweet peat, light sage smoke, raspberries, blueberries, lemon meringue pie, plum tart, lime marmalade, pork in black bean sauce, Chinese five spices, duck and vegetable spring rolls in soy sauce and printer paper

Palate : Much heavier smoke than the nose suggests, it's tarry with engine oil, sweet peat, Chinese five spice, duck in hoisin sauce, noodles with beansprouts, bamboo chopsticks, sea breeze and rye Finish

Finish : Tar , rye and slightly sweet engine smoke with hints of daiquiri
